NOTE: Due to COVID-19, RMHC Maine will not be accepting in-person donations at our Ronald McDonald House programs in Bangor and Portland until further notice. We are still accepting Amazon packages and other deliveries sent by mail. To ensure this temporary disruption to programming does not leave our guests without many of the resources they have come to count on, sending supplies directly to our Houses will help us stock key items for families.
Every day, up to 35 families are able to call Ronald McDonald Houses their “home-away-from home” because of the tremendous support from the community. In-kind gifts allow us to focus our budget dollars on the most critical needs of the children and families. No state or federal tax dollars are used to operate Ronald McDonald House, the House is 100% funded by private dollars.
The next time you are at the grocery store or a wholesale club (or even shopping Amazon!) pick up a few items and drop them off at the Houses between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. In order to ensure the health, safety and well-being of our children and families, we cannot accept used clothing, toys or stuffed animals. All food items must not be opened or past their expiration date.
