Honor a friend, family member or special occasion with a donation in their name. Your donation allows the House to ask the families pay only $10 per night, with no family turned away due to inability to pay, ever. Your donation can also be mailed to: 250 Brackett St. Portland, ME 04102
Donate Stock
Gifts of eligible stocks/securities are welcomed and encouraged, and typically carry benefits not associated with gifts made by check, cash or credit card. Benefits include:
- 1. You avoid capital gains tax. Any gain is taxable if you sell stock or mutual
fund shares yourself, but not if you transfer ownership to the Ronald McDonald House. - 2. Your charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes is based on the full fair market value
of the shares on the date the gift is made. - 3. You receive credit from Ronald McDonald House for the full fair market value of the shares,
but the cost to you is only your original purchase price.

Corporate Matching
Many corporations offer employee gift matches. Simply fill out the forms required by your corporation and send them to the House with your check. The House will complete the remainder of the paperwork and will work with your company to do the rest. What a wonderful gift to give twice as much to the families of the Ronald McDonald House.
In Kind Gifts
Drop off Wish List items, which allow us to focus our budget dollars on the most critical needs of the children and families. You can also collect for Project L.O.V.E (Lots Of Varying Essentials), which is an easy way for schools, churches, businesses and individuals to help support Ronald McDonald House by collecting a specific item the House needs. Contact the Development Director for a Project L.O.V.E. Box and to find out what the House needs.
Pull for Families
Join our Tab Top Program! Ounce by ounce, pound by pound, you can make a ton of difference. Collect aluminum tabs from soda, tennis ball, vegetable, soup, pet food cans, and more. You can drop your collection off at our House, or at one of our designated drop-off locations.
Brick Program
Our commemorative brick walkway is dedicated to honoring the caring individuals, families, businesses, groups and foundations that support the Ronald McDonald House.
TD Bank Affinity Program
Use your current (or open a new!) business checking or personal savings, checking, money market, CDs or IRA account at TD Bank to participate in annual cash contributions to the House (at no cost to you!) based on the accounts activity.
