Volunteer Manager
The Volunteer Manager at the Ronald McDonald House manages all facets of the volunteer program, including recruitment, training, management, retention, and appreciation efforts for all volunteers for the Ronald McDonald House in Bangor and the Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. The Volunteer Manager also serves as an ambassador of the Ronald McDonald House Maine and provides exceptional customer service for all guest families, donors, volunteers, and visitors who enter the House. The Volunteer Manager provides administrative support as the first point of contact for the House when volunteers are not available, answering phone calls, supporting family needs, handling mail and deliveries, and helping with other operational duties. This position reports directly to the House Manager in Bangor.
This position is in person at the Ronald McDonald House in Bangor. The shift for this position is Monday and Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 10:15 am to 6:15 pm. This position requires working on occasional holidays and weekends, and the flexing of their schedule as needed. This is a full-time exempt position (40 hours per week) and is eligible for benefits.
