Third Annual Red Shoe Cruise raises over $4,500 for RMHC of Maine

On September 30, the third annual Red Shoe Cruise, hosted by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine’s Red Shoe Society set sail aboard Casablanca on Casco Bay and raised over $4,500. Over 150 people were in attendance. The evening included a performance by Shut Down Brown, as well as the opportunity to learn more about the Red Shoe Society – RMHC of Maine’s young professionals philanthropic group.

RMHC of Maine thanks both Flatbread and Gritty’s for donating pizza and wings for the event. Thanks to generous sponsors which include: Professional Disability Associates, Hutchins and Son Masonry and Francis & Joanne Bellino in helping raise critical funding for helping families stay close to their seriously ill children. The support of the Portland community not only made this a successful fundraiser yet again, but allows the organization to keep their doors open 24 hours a day, all year long.
