21 Jul Oldies Dance Group Raises $5,623 at Sold-Out Event

This year, the Oldies Dance Group celebrated its 6th Annual Oldies Benefit Dance with TWO dances to benefit the Ronald McDonald House raising $5,623.  Tickets sold fast for these two Rock ‘n Roll events, the first was held on Saturday, September 20 at the Elks Lodge in Saco and the second was held on Saturday, October 18 at the American Legion in Kennebunk.

This event featured Rock and Roll music from 50’s, 60’s and 70’s with dancing contests and fun trivia questions.

Bruce Martin, instrumental in launching this fundraiser, and his amazing committee started dancing in 2009 and have planned this event every year since then.  To date the group has raised over $15,000 for the RMH.
