The Ronald McDonald Family Room provides an additional resource to the already exceptional services provided to families at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. Our Family Room, located on the 8th floor on the pediatric inpatient wing, is your respite within reach.
Research shows providing families with emotional and physical support improves the hospital experience for both the child and their family. Not only does the Family Room provide a respite for families, it also keeps families close by so they can meet with the medical team to participate in the treatment plan so essential to their child’s recovery. Helping to improve the child’s recovery helps to achieve better outcomes.
